Messages from Nature Spirits

This week Sassy & I took a 5 mile hike round-trip up to Passage Creek Falls in Paradise Valley with a couple of friends and received a few messages from the nature spirits I thought I would share with you.

The country is pretty stark and surreal from a forest fire in 2007 that burned 26,500 acres ~ burned trees as far as you can see. When you look closer to the ground, there is so much new growth teaming up everywhere. 

On the way up to the falls I did my practice of asking God to work through me: blessing the wind, the rocks, the sky, the animals, the plants and the trees.

As I neared the top of our climb, there was a nice gentle breeze, very welcomed because of the warmth of the day (80 degrees feels like 100 after a long winter in Montana :-) and I heard the Spirit of wind say: "Let me carry all your worries, your fears, your pains, and your thoughts. Let me carry them all away." Of course, I imagined them all blowing away in the wind.

At the falls I received a message from the maiden of the falls: "Act like a drop of water flowing with the current. Maybe you'll be knocked around a bit, maybe you will nourish other beings, you may make it to the ocean, or you may not. It doesn't matter. Enjoy the journey and let go of all else." More letting go... this time I imagined everything being carried away by the stream and myself in the flow of life.

On the way back, the spirit of the burned trees talked to me and said: "How proud we are to be a part of the next coming generation of plant life, and food for the little creatures. To not be sorry that they burned, for it is all part of the natural cycle. If you followed the cycle and died out here, you too would also be proud to nourish others with your bodies." This helped me have a whole different perspective on the burned area.

Back at home, and quite tired from my journey, I took my favorite bath of sea salt, Epson salt, baking soda and essential oils and felt rejuvenated, content and free. Thank you hiking buddies, God, Spirit of the Wind, Maiden of the Falls, and Spirit of the Trees for the amazing day!

Next time you are out in nature, open to receiving messages from the nature spirits. I didn't used to be able to get messages, but the angels have told me that once you climb to the top of the mountain (like The high vibrational angels) then you can more easily communicate with beings on all lower vibrational levels when you choose to.
